Richa Goyal

Richa Goyal has over 25 years of regulatory compliance experience across diverse financial services and jurisdictions. As a financial services regulator at the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Richa has supervised asset managers, corporate finance, fund managers, trust services, private banking and Islamic finance firms in the DIFC.

Richa is a Non Executive Director at FundRock Investment Management Services (ME) Ltd, a Fund Platform company owned by Apex Group.

Richa is a consultant (Program Director) to Toronto Centre (Global Leadership in Financial Supervision), a role she has held for five years.

Richa is a member UAE Central Bank Advisory Working Group on National Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy Strategy. She is also a member of the UAE Advisory Council of CISI (Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment).

Richa has worked as a Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer with European banks including The Royal Bank of Scotland and Banque Internationale a Luxembourg covering private banking, investment and corporate banking in Middle East & Africa. Richa specializes in regulatory compliance matters including investment advisory, cross border regulation and data protection.

Richa has expertise in advising supervisory agencies and regulators in designing and implementation of national financial inclusion strategies and supervision of digital financial products.

Richa started her career with the National Stock Exchange of India which is amongst world's top 5 stock exchanges. Richa has expertise in trading, clearing and settlement operations, inspection and investigation.

In Financial crime prevention, she has extensive experience in the interpretation and implementation of FATF standards, European AML directives, UAE federal law and DFSA rules. Richa often provides training internally and externally on regulatory and financial crime risks.

Amit Karode

Partner, Niti Advisory Services

Amit Karode has nearly three decades of regulatory compliance and financial services industry experience. As a financial services regulator at the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), Amit has supervised leading global and regional Fund & Asset Managers, Private Banks and Investment Banks. Amit has been a member of the DFSA's supervision team responsible for the roll out of the Collective Investment Funds regime and has contributed significantly to DFSA's various policy initiatives.

Amit has extensive knowledge of investment products across equities, derivatives, fixed income, public funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital (VC), Property Funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), credit funds and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

Amit has represented the DFSA at Outreach Sessions and also at international forums including Supervisory Colleges.

Prior to joining the DFSA, Amit held various management roles with National Bank of Abu Dhabi and its subsidiary in the Funds, Asset Management and Compliance teams.

Amit was a key member of the team which set up Nasdaq Dubai in 2005, region's first international stock exchange in the DIFC.

Amit started his career at the National Stock Exchange of India (NSEIL) which enriched his experience across trading, clearing and settlement, risk management and market surveillance teams.
